Happy Birthday Guruji!
It is the birthday of our Spiritual Visionary. And what better way than to announce that Vajradhatu is up and running! Over the past one year work has been going on to get the center ready. We are now ready to host Retreats and Programs with a large meditation hall, 28 person Residential facility, kitchen and dining room areas.
The 8.11 foot tall white sandstone idol of Guru Nyima Ozer, the enlightened emanation of Guru Rinpoche which was installed by Khyentse Rinpoche is just a few touches away from its final form. It is the only idol of Guru Nyima Ozer of this size anywhere.
As this is being posted 400 ten foot tall trees are being planted all around the center as part of a 5 year program to plant 3-4000 trees in the 7 acres on which the meditation centre is situated upon.
May the vision of our Gurus take root here and the Buddhadharma flourish for all sentient beings!
